World Pangolin Day is observed every year on the “Third Saturday of February”. In 2022, 11th edition of World Pangolin Day is observed on 19 February 2022.  The day aims to raise awareness about these unique mammals and speed up conservation efforts.

International News:

India and UAE signed the historic Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) aimed at boosting the merchandise trade between the two countries to US$ 100 billion over next  five years. The deal was signed during the virtual summit meeting between Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi and H.E. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi.

National News :

Government of India to expand public electric vehicle charging infrastructure across the country. At present there are around 940 in 9 cities out of 1640 public EV chargers in India. 22,000 EV charging stations will be installed by oil marketing companies in major cities and highways across the country

Narendra Modi flagged off 100 Kisan drones to spray pesticides in farms across country.
