The Indo-Oman exercise, Eastern Bridge-VI (2022) was successfully conducted at Air Force Station Jodhpur from 21 to 25 February 2022. Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO) participated with Indian Air Force (lAF) in the exercise.

Bangladesh President Abdul Hamid has appointed the former Defence Secretary Kazi Habibul Awal as the new Chief Election Commissioner of Bangladesh. Kazi Awal will replace K M Nurul Huda whose terms as CEC ended on 14 February.
United States President Joe Biden nominated federal appeals court Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson to the American Supreme Court.
National News:
The Union Cabinet has approved the national roll-out of Central Sector Scheme, Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, with a budget of Rs.1,600 crore for five years. The National Health Authority (NHA) will be the implementing agency of Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM).
Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) has approved offering of coal by coal companies through a common e-auction window instead of sector-specific auctions. This e-auction will cater to all the sectors like power sector and non-regulated sector.
Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare Dr. Mansukh Mandavia launched the National Polio Immunization Drive for 2022.
Union Minister for Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME), Narayan Rane inaugurated Coir Board Regional Office at Kankavali in Sindhudurg. Coir Board is implementing several programmes to develop coir industry in the Konkan Zone. With the opening of this regional office, Coir Board will bring more programmes to the region.
Obituaries News:
Former Chief Minister of Odisha Hemanand Biswal passed away. He was 82. He was the Chief Minister of the state for two terms from 1989 and from 1999.
