The 5th Bangladesh- India Cultural meet kicked off in Rajshahi. Friends of Bangladesh and Rajshahi City Corporation (RCC) are jointly hosting the four-day event between Feb 25-28 to celebrate the birth centenary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the golden jubilee of the liberation of Bangladesh and 50th year of Bangladesh India Friendship.
National News:
Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has issued a notification for rigid vehicles and trailers for having maximum of three decks to transport two-wheelers. The notification was issued on 25 February 2022. This move will enhance the carriage capacity of two-wheelers by 40 to 50 percent.

Indian wushu player Sadia Tariq has won a gold medal at a junior tournament being held in Moscow.
