The Tamil Nadu cabinet led by Chief Minister MK Stalin was sworn in on May 7, 2021.

Swadhin Bangla Betar artist Anup Bhattacharya passed away.

Freedom fighter and Swadhin Bangla Betar Kendra musician Anup Bhattacharya passed away in Dhaka on 7th May 2021. He was 77.

Anup Bhattacharya was recognised as an exceptional Tagore singer. He also composed Baul songs and modern Bangla songs.
